This Was Love and I Was Such a Tyrant Destroyer

My upcoming months (Worth reading i think)

So I decided to write this because at nineteen I still am just a little child at heart and as soon as something mildly exciting is comes up I freak out with excitement and can barely think of anything else.

  • Of course there is Christmas in less than a week which is awesome in the Sullivan house. It begins with everyone waking up in a hungover state because there is usually a gig on the night before; followed by everyone opening their presents. I love this part the most, not because I am getting gifts but because I try so hard to give everyone the best and most thoughtful presents that my puny mind can comprehend as something they will like; Then comes the hours of eating and drinking excessive amounts followed by a nap for everyone to recuperate… and then repeat until time for the day to finish haha
  • Peats Ridge Music Festival- This was possibly one of the funnest things of my entire life last year. It runs from the 28th to New years day and is 4 days of everyone drinking, camping and partying their asses off. Patrick won tickets last year and I got the second ticket. We didn’t really know anyone except for the occasional person we saw every now and again but managed to meet far too many people and then forget them the next day due to us being in drunken hazes. Then we would stagger back to our campsite and collapse in an inebriated mess… Of course Patrick managed to fall on top of the tent with me still inside it causing it to cave in around me haha. Some of the bands i want to see: Dum Dum Girlz, San Cisco, Oh Mercy, Gotye, Husky, Jim Ward (from At-the-drive-in) 
  • Australian Open in Melbourne- I used to watch this every summer holiday in Hawksnest and get to go in 2012 with some of my best friends which shall be absolutely awesome! Melbourne is so incredibly awesome as well with the best cafes, best local bands and best places to shop and drink in Australia so once again it shall be Awesome!!!!!
  • Laneway Festival- In February. With some of the bands that I have become obsessed with in the last year on top of bands I have loved for many. Not to mention the people I am going with who will make it even better (since I have learnt it is a whole lot better going to a festival with brothers instead of some friends because we all love the same music, hence peats ridge last year). Bands I want to see: Wu Lyf, The Drums, Girls, M83, Feist, Laura Marling
  • Byron Bay Bluesfest- Of course the most fun I have each year and every year since I was thirteen. 5 straight days of drinking and hearing awesome and usually classic original bands with all the males in my extended family on my dad’s side (which is a whole god damn lot haha). Bands I want to see this year: Crosby, Stills & Nash, Roger Daltrey , Earth, Wind & Fire; My Morning Jacket, Yes.
  • And everything in between!

In summation I am going to have a great year and hope those around me do too. I realised that all these include vast amounts of drinking and to thos that realised I say “Wha’eva I Do Wha’ I Want!” haha. No one probably read this far… if at all haha.
